This is my go-to chicken recipe, so tender and full of flavor!
- Difficulty: Easy
- Prep Time: 5 minutes
- Cook Time: 10-15 minutes
- Yields: 3-5 Servings

Ingredients
- 3-5 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Dried Basil
- 1 tsp Thyme
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Oregano
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Fresh Herbs for garnish (optional)
Cooking Tools
- Cast Iron Skillet or Large Frying Pan
- Small Mixing Bowl
- Meat Tenderizer

Directions
-Place chicken breasts on a Cutting Board and using a meat tenderizer, pound each chicken breast into even ½ inch thickness.
-In a mixing bowl, combine garlic powder, basil, thyme, onion powder, and oregano.
-Start by sprinkling salt and pepper on both sides of chicken, then begin to spread seasoning mixture on both sides of chicken breasts until evenly coated.
-Once chicken is prepared, melt two tablespoons of butter in a large skillet or frying pan on medium to high heat.
-After butter is melted and the skillet is hot, place chicken breasts on skillet and sear the chicken on both sides for 5-7 minutes or until the outside is golden brown and seasonings begin to form a crust.
-Once the chicken is golden brown and looks delicious, it is ready to eat!
Tips
-I like to make sure the skillet/pan is nice and hot before placing the chicken to allow for the outside of the chicken breast to sear and lock in the moisture.
-This chicken recipe pairs well with rice, pasta, brussels sprouts, or asparagus on the side!
